RDP Electrosense offer a wide range of linear and rotary displacement transducer systems for your most demanding applications, including submersible, high-temperature, and Intriniscally Safe environments. RDP’s sensing systems include LVDT, draw wire and capacitive technologies.

Vishay Micro-Measurements Linear Displacement Sensors use a fully active 350-ohm strain-gage bridge to sense spindle displacement, giving infinite resolution and excellent linearity. They are compatible with all standard strain gage instrumentation with bridge excitation from 2 to 20 volts. Full-scale ranges from ¼" (5mm) to 4" (100mm) are available, making these versatile sensors ideally suited for use in research, manufacturing and process control applications.

Cable Displacement Sensors provide a voltage signal linearly proportional to the extension of a retractable stainless steel cable. By simply attaching the base of the sensor to a reference surface, and the cable to the component being displaced, output can be read on any instrument accepting strain gage or high-level voltage inputs. Full scales of 5, 10, 20, 30, 40 and 50 inches are available."

Over eighteen years of product line history has demonstrated Capacitec's strong support in all markets where a more sophisticated "ruler" is required and in areas where traditional sensors cannot fit or survive the environment, including measurements utilizing thin gap sensors and strain extensometry for material strength testing.

Capacitec's sensors and instrumentation provide extremely high sensitivity and stability to minute physical/mechanical changes, especially in severe environments of temperature, magnetic fields, high radiation and non-contact, non-intrusive applications.
