The Instruments Division of Vishay Micro-Measurements is the only organization of its kind devoted exclusively to the design and manufacture of high-quality strain-gage instrumentation. The result of such specialization is an instrument line engineered specifically for strain gages. Basic instrumentation requirements call for stability, accuracy and high resolution when making measurements under static loading conditions, and particularly where measurements are to be taken over long periods of time. When signals are produced by dynamically applied loads at frequencies above 0.1 Hz, or are transients, measuring instrumentation requires adequate frequency response, and a wide amplifier gain range for output to the appropriate recording or display device. MicroStrain's Agile-Link™ is a wireless data acquisition system capable of simultaneous, high-speed data acquisition, for use with wireless strain gauges, accelerometers, temperature, and millivolt level inputs. Test & measurement applications often require the combination of wireless strain measurement systems to be used alongside hard-wired sensors, all connected to an existing analog data acquisition system. In order to easily support these applications, MicroStrain provides an Agile-Link™ analog output base station that collects analog data from multi-channel Agile-Link™ sensor nodes and then reconstructs the analog waveforms on the base station's outputs. RDP Electrosense's range of instrumentation is capable of handling a wide range of transducer input, from specialized LVDT displacement transducers to DC output devices. Features such as limit enabling, computer interface, and re-transmission (voltage or current outputs) are available for all of the RDP's instruments. Accumetrics Associates provides high accuracy/high integrity/ high speed digital telemetry solutions ranging from the measurement of individual signal inputs to more than 600 sensor input applications to accurately retrieve and reproduce torque, temperature, vibration, voltage, current, and many other measurement parameters. Accumetrics products are used to retrieve data from race cars, steam turbines, windmills, motors, pumps, engine dynamometers, generators, aircraft, process industries, and more. |
